I'm not gonna lie I want 750 yds of offense and the opponent averaging -5 yds per game but I will take a 3-0 win every week

This is my problem. The Tigers that came out and played that 1st quarter coud wipe the field with Florida and Alabama, and just about anybody else. The Tigers in the 2nd half could lose to Tulane. And we all know what the 3rd quarter Tigers look like

we could realisticly win out. Maybe another loss or two.

I'd go with the latter. I see our offense looking a bit better tonight, especially Jefferson, but ... I honestly wonder if any of the coaches on our team understand how to coach the offense to run the ball. Or how to integrate the running game in a coherent manner into the whole offensive scheme. It simply looks like we pull too many plays out of our butts with no rationale or concept behind them. I'm thinking specifically about JJ's two runs from the 4-yard line, some of Shep's runs, not going back to Scott after he opened the game with an 8-yard run, etc. We're beating a fricked up Auburn team now, and I'm glad we're up 17-0, but what I'm seeing doesn't give me lots of confidence against Bama or Ole Miss. On the bright side, kudos to Jefferson, he's stepping up tonight.

Defense playing well. We still have a first year starter at qb. That means at times he will look great, and at times he will look bad. First year starters aren't known for consistency.

He's not playing as scared tonight although I hate those five step drops in the shotgun. I'm watching tebow at the same time and his drops are much shorter.

I hate to say it but I think the difference is coaching and play calling. Maybe Chavis needs to start calling the plays on offense he seems to be the only coach we have that actually has some nuts...

NEGAtigers are never happy. They were probably posting that Miles was holding the egg in the wrong hand a few years ago...

I guess the excuse now for Crowton and his offensive calling is he just has too many weapons.
So the old saying "too much of a good thing can be bad" is our problem!! Yea, right !!
Quit trying to be cute and just utilize your talent and get some solid drives going.
