At that point I realized that with Katrina and Rita and all that went with it, our boys were just flat out tired when they played UGA. And I realized I owed Les Miles an apology.

For me it was Ark two years ago.He recognised we couldn't slow down the hogs in the second half because of injuries to all three LB's.He took the air completely out of ball and ate up just enough clock to win the game.The momentum of that game had shifted completely to the hogs and without TH's return and a few time consuming drives we clearly lose that game IMO.Maybe I am giving him more credit than he deserves but, its about time someone does.

I always liked Les, thought he deserved an honest chance
I was wondering if he'd survive LSU fans and such especially with the Gwen Stefani mic in his first home game and his quiet manner, but at half-time of the 06 Tenn game where he went after that reporter I had to laugh and that's when I realized that Les would be just fine around here ... as a future sports writer however, I do def. fear the hat more and more these days
