Jarrett Lee tried to lose this game.

This is silly, but Lee’s issue seemed to be predetermining his throws, especially on play action. The second INT would have been a good throw without the underneath defender.

How so?

There was no reason for him to ever enter that game. Jefferson, after coming back, had already been outplaying him to this point.

Lee never went through his reads and would ALWAYS throw off his back foot at the first sign of pressure.

And this offensive game plan was not even what they had practiced the entire time leading up to the bowl. Les changed everything once they kicked off. Players were pissed. Les abandoned the game plan that was implemented for the bowl. Players were begging Les to change QB's during the game and Les refused. It was tragic and stupid. He did nothing different from the game at Alabama to this game.

The option to Michael Ford was always so boom or bust.

Either he gained 10+ yards or lost 5+ yards.

That game brings up bad memories to the rematch that occurred a couple months later. Dufus Les Miles got us punished - pitiful plan on offense!

So the 2nd INT would've been a good play against air. Wow!

One of the worst mistakes Miles made was not letting Lee start the next game against whatever cupcake it was. Lee was fine till that game he just shite the bed that night. The offense got worst from then on

Make no mistake, Jefferson and Lee both sucked arse, but Jefferson sucked less than Lee.

There was no reason for Lee to ever see the field after that Bama game. That was the biggest moment of the season and he melted.

It’s crazy that none of LSU’s 5 OL played in the nfl & that team was so good

In this case pretty much. Remember it’s always been a “mythical” national championship and that one was a one-eyed unicorn with a dildo for a horn.

We beat every team on the schedule including multiple conference champions and Bama. Absolutely a GOAT-caliber season that transcended (and helped kill) the BCS

That's a damn good point.

Lee was the better QB. To not let him see the field in the NC was why I wanted Les gone. To make it worse he puts our man in to take a knee in the sec title game. Total disrespect for a QB who got you to that point. If I were Lee I would never come back!
