I booked the fairfield inn for 84/night and it is directly across from six flags, less than a couple of miles from the stadium.

I would suggest the Omni in Fort Worth. It is downtown, 15 minutes from Cowboys Stadium. Hop on Interstate 30, and its a straight shot. Downtown Fort Worth has plenty of bar options. FYI, the AFC Super Bowl representative is staying there this year.

The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. Could be pricey if you don't book early but very nice, lots to do and a short shot down 360 to Jerryworld....

Any idea how many tickets will be available to each school?

Capital One Bowl - $80
Outback Bowl - $70

The Gaylord Texan would be my next suggestion. It's a bit more expensive, and there isn't much going on in Grapevine nightlife wise. The hotel itself is the nicest in the metroplex though.

Hyatt Place. Right down the street from the stadium.

Here is a thread from a few weeks ago LINK

If all you are going to do is go back to the Ho-t after the game, arlington is ok. But there is almost no night life in arlington. So you'll be driving to Dallas or Ft Worth after the game if thats what you are looking for. Personally, I'd rather be close to my bed after drinking.

I would not recommend anyone to stay in Arlington. It's the armpit of DFW.

You're kidding, right? The Gaylord is basically a glorified Hyatt. But it is convenient to the stadium.

Downtown Ft Worth is a great place to spend a weekend.
