4 of the 5 runs LSU got in the 1st were unearned

There have been two major flaws I've seen in Kentucky throughout the year. Errors and the inability to drive in runs. You've seen the errors but I remember the Georgia game where we had the bases loaded 3 times in the first 4 innings and got one run out of it. There are some thing that need to fixed on this team if we want to go anywhere with this season.

Well, that inning wasn't quite as successful.

Laird needs to work on stealing in the offseason, if he can get that down, oh my will he be dangerous. I envision a 20+ SB season for him in the future with his speed.

Great weekend but this team hits into way too many double plays.. or double play balls where 2 isn't turned because you can't double up Laird.

It's amazing we've scored as many runs as we have with how many we've hit into.

Would not have minded Laird getting thrown out stealing on a pitch in that situation. Pick off is never good. At least Rhymes can try to set the table for Katz next inning.
