LSU has had an impressive pitching staff this year so far. Just think how loaded it would have been if Gausman was just a little younger and couldn't have done the 21 rule.

34 K's on the weekend now right?

Our OOC doesnt have name power but go check out the records of the teams we've played outside of playing us. We have one of the top SOS's in the country right now.

Maryland has beat no one of note, & Brown is horrible

Texas AM has played a series vs Pepperdine, 1 each vs Houston, Rice & UNC, and has an upcoming series with CSF. Probably overkill, but id like LSU to play at least 1 series with a decent team before the SEC

you compared Maryland to Clemson, Miami, TCU, etc.

Maryland hasnt made the NCAA tournament since 1971.

There is nothing to really counter.

Pepperdine

Ok, I know they won the CWS in 1992 and are a solid fringe-tourney program, but come the frick on...

Using them to put down Maryland is a joke.

I'm with you LE. I'd like a little bit more of a challenge before SEC play. Just one series at least. It'd help a little more with RPI and SOS later in the year as well for post season play.
