We can't always depend on that though. I think with some more work, Cartwright can easily be stretched out to 6 or 7. Of course I'm saying all of this based on today's start only.

I would love to see Auburn take that series, everyone is saying USCe is a lock for a top 8 seed but they haven't impressed yet.

I think Alden can go a couple more. He did great thru 3 and then gave up back to back singles in the 4th but worked out of the inning. We only had a 1-0 lead, with a few more runs for the good guys he might have been able to go another inning or two.
