Piss poor performance from the Tigers tonight. 5 hits 1 run. Jungman is a freshman that was pitching in a huge fricking game. Its obvious he cracks under pressure as evident by his performance last night. No one was patient at the plate tonight and followed up last nights 10+ K's with 9 tonight. Obviously Augie had his guys fired up. If the Tigers perform tomorrow like they have the last two nights (save me the come back on monday, they looked like shite a large part of that game) then Texas will have its 7th title.

Nobody said it would be easy, great pitching beats great hitting; however, he will not be pitching tomorrow.

Just a great job by a good pitcher. nothing more, nothing less.
Completely disagree. Yes their pitcher was great but our hitters were equally bad. Undisciplined teams do not win championships. If we can get it together for tommorrow then Sanchez needs to be replaced.

Good game by Texas, but tomorrow we win the whole thing!

AGREE. LSU at its best>Texas at its best.
Dude you are dilusional. Be thankful Texas didn't complete the sweep tonight. Tigers squeaked by last night on a fluke.

Listen people, we beat Texas at their best last night.
They did not beat LSU at their best tonight.
Here we go......

Texas has shot their wod. LSU will win Wed.
Ya'll said that last night. I think it was the other way around. UT has the confidence and the momentum. LSU's bats are ice cold, and if Ranaudo gets in trouble early, y'all are screwed.
As many expected, we got to Ross early and the damage was done. Mainieri should never have started him. Your coach played it safe and it's gonna come back to bite him in the arse.

Expect to see planes with a "5-1" banner flying over Omaha tomorrow. If not Omaha, could be over LSU's campus.
Texas loves to let everyone know when they win.

Jungman was the reason for that. But i agree, PM played it too safe. like he played not to lose instead of to win.

I'd like to see Jared at clean-up and Micah moved down to his position. Ochinko is swinging a better bat right now than Landry, who I can't recall getting it out of the infield in the series.
We have needed to change the batting order for awhile but I think Manieri was sitting pat on his winning streak. It's obvious that Gibbs is not a cleanup hitter. The Texas pitchers all show fear of Mitchell and they won't be able to pitch around Dean and give him garbage.

we got Texas right were we want them, because we all know they are going to be over confident, and we are going to pumped especially at the plate. We will have the second arm of our 1-2 punch, and if he throws half as good as his last start we should be fine. But i totally agree with the fact that are bats were down tonite. He pitched solid all nine innings, but at times we made him look alot better than he really was.
but anyways
lets get them tom!!!
p.s. i felt that the crowd mainly in the last few innings did a great job of reppin our program. It shows what kind of fanbase we have when we can play that below average and still make it sound like a football game.

I think our pitchers would have loved as well that low outside strike that Jungmann got. But I will concede that our batters haphazardly swung giving easy plays to the third baseman waaaaayyy too often.

winning? Wouldn't we want them on a plane home tonight after a Tigers win?
