He's one of the fastest if not THE fastest baserunners in the entire country with a right handed batter and their backup catcher. It's not THAT bad a move to try and get a cheap run. It didnt work out..period. Great play by Rice.

JMitch stealing is never a bad call. I don't personally like trying to take 3rd too often because it hurts to make an out there, but with a right handed batter in the box...its just as good a call as holding on to 2nd.
