After leadoff double, Nola at 2nd base. next batter hit a weak ground ball to third and he didnt take 3rd. Batter was thrown out, Nola still on 2nd. Would have scored on a ground ball to short, ort a wild pitch later.

I just mean on the hitting/baserunning side of tonight's game. Not the season as a whole. I expect more fire from college kids than what I am sensing right now at least. You don't play the #1 ranked team every weekend so it shouldn't exactly be asking to muster up a whole lot.

Not a bad idea, Johnson is not dangerous as a 5 spot hitter.

Ball made it about 3/4 of the way to the dirt on several bounces. You could read it easily that it was a softly hit ball that was not going to get an out a 3rd base. It just bothers me more that we have made numerous base running errors through this game and a half. Once and a while is expected when you play enough ball but we just seem to have our heads up our arse right now.
