Can anyone imagine how mad Hawthorne will be all the bitchy complaining he will do if they start this game so late?

I think tomorrows weather plays a large part in the decision to not call this game.
Uh ya think? If it would be clear tomorrow, this game would've been called long ago.

We're told a decision will be made in 20-30 minutes, but it shouldn't take that long. #LSU
well that's helpful

Except we have a 4 day window when everyone else has 3.
this would only be applicable if we started the serie first, giving mainly pitchers extra days to recover. if not a single pitch is thrown at all, and we start the same day as every other team in the SEC, you can not logically say that we would be given an unfair advantage.

You are talking about pros and teams with nearly unlimited funds, this is much different.
what does money have to do with a competitive advantage on the field? when it comes to the fairness of the actual game, there is no difference between the two. If this game had actually been slated to start Friday like every other series, then yeah the rule makes sense. Unless you think LSU would have an advantage because LSU had an extra pregame batting practice

If that's the case, then a series that starts on Friday should be given until Monday to complete it if necessary right?

The problem with trying to get two in tomorrow is that there's a 60 percent chance of rain throughout the day

Judging from the radar (which I'm sure you're all keeping track of as well) we should be seeing some baseball here soon.
