If you don't get it, then you don't get it. It would be unfair.

is it unfair when MLB games are rained out and played at a later date? Is it unfair that FSU and UNC each had midweek games rained out earlier this year and are now playing each other in a non-conference game (which will boost both of their SOS) to make up for the games they missed? It wouldn't be unfair if we played 3 games in 3 days and just started a day later.

You are talking about pros and teams with nearly unlimited funds, this is much different.

Rain lighter, but #LSU-A&M must start in next 75 minutes. Lightning must stop for 30 before grounds crew can work. Then another 45 #domath.

my New Orleans private school math says not 1 more lightning strike can happen... or it's see you tomorrow folks

ESPN might want to look at having ESPNU's Thursday night game be in the PAC 12 in the Desert & have more SEC Games on Saturday where you have all day to play it.

Well for that matter it wouldn't be unfair if we didn't start until Saturday or Sunday and then played for three days.

i know you're being a smartass, but that wouldn't be the same at all. we'd be getting extra days rest that other teams aren't. texas a&m is technically at an "unfair disadvantage" because they're scheduled to play this series with one day less rest than the rest of the conference

But the series is scheduled Thursday through Saturday....just like one series has been for ESPN every week. It really isn't that difficult to understand.

it's not that i don't understand the rule, i just don't agree with it when it comes to a thursday-saturday series that isn't the last week of the season. just because a rule may or may not exist doesn't mean that rule is appropriate and "right" in every circumstance.

Figures A&M would pull out all the stops to intimidate us before the game. Thunderstorm of epic proportions then the friggin bats
