So it seems that most of the SEC is playing a DH today, but not us where there is a 100% chance of rain in Nashville Sunday. That's OK because Vandy's field drains well.

what a sensational ball game. Really proud of LSU for beating one of the premier pitchers in all of baseball. Vandy usually really good on defense but last night was not their night.
LSU should play with confidence today so maybe our bats will come alive. 66 and sunny here in Nashville with no wind.

The Advocate quoted a Vandy source as saying there were 75 pro scouts in attendance last nite. Both pitchers certainly put on a show for them.Am sure they were there to see the Vandy bullpen, too, as that last stud was hitting 97 according to the radio.
