Given the concerns of Gov Landry, will all future coaching contracts be between 3 parties being the coach, LSU BOS, and a third party which is guarantor of the additional compensation and buyout beyond the 400k base? Or will there be 2 contracts, one with the coach and LSU BOS for the base amount and a separate with TAF or other private entity for the additional compensation and buyout?

Based on the awful press conference on Friday, nothing has been worked out yet. And I’d imagine it won’t be settled until we hire the new coach

If we're being realistic. Landry has no control over TAF. TAF pays the money to who they want to be the HC and the BOS goes along with the TAF.

:andry is playing the optics game and TBD if that's a smart move politically. At the end of the day, all he could potentially affect is the $400k base salary

That's the linear opposite of realistic. Technically Landry has no control over TAF. Realistically, he has an enormous amount of control.

I think the buyout just gets passed to consumers via crawfish prices. They're gonna go up again
