As for the aerial banner, if Bama had an aerial banner flying over the LSU campus/Tiger Stadium in 2008 and all it said was, "Roll Tide," then I would have been pissed. Had it said, "Daddy's home/back. Roll Tide" then I would have been doubly pissed.
The "Daddy's Back" part is condescending. It's perfect. It's like, "Who's your daddy?" You know - dad's home and you're about to get your @ss tore up.
If I'm an OM fan and I see that banner flying over my campus for hours before the game, then I'm pissed AF.
What else are we going to say? Merry Flipmas?

I know some will be upset if we don’t do a fire Sankey message on the aerial banner. But if we want Gameday crew to give it attention- we need a good troll phrase. Humor is what we do best.
