Definetly looked like Mouton was the go to guy when Moore went down. But what about Ducre? Wasn't hr recruited as a fullback? He looked pretty good on spring game but to me it looks like he is taking a redshirt.
Just curios on what we will do at fullback if mouton can't get it done

Mouton will get it done. They will also go in more 1 back sets or double tight end if he can't.

Lol yeah, he was the #1 fullback in the country out of high school. He will be a good one when given the chance.

Imo Mouton will get it done. Our fullbacks ALWAYS seem prepared no matter what happens. We will forsure see two running back plays though.

There's a reason that Mouton gets the call...nothing more need to be said for guys that understand the SEC game...

The first fullback you will see hasn't been mentioned in this thread, he is another walk on.

Has he done any actual blocking out of the Fullback position? Last week he ran it a few times, and was used in a pseudo triple option.

It will be Mouton with DWill sprinkled in there.

Ducre will be a fine fullback for us, but he's got to learn the position first. He was rarely without the ball in high school and just needs time to figure it out.

We will be ok with Mouton and DWill.

What's the latest on Tony Upchurch? Could be a great weapon as a FB/HB out of backfield. Former WR in high school.

Nope. He was listed as a fullback by 247 sports, but he was always recruited as a runningback, just one who could take fullback snaps his 1st year. But might as well redshirt him since they had Moore and Mouton as the better options at fullback and four guys at runningback.

Going to be a beast a couple years from now. Ran around a 10.7 in the 100 meter dash

I'd really like to see Guice in the slot and LF in the backfield. No FB, just confuse them with whatever could come next.

If Upchurch is already behind Moore, Mouton, Williams situationally, and Ducre, we need to move him to LB ASAP. Kid has talent, a great frame, and we need bodies at that position next year.
