I feel this game could go either way. I’m from FL and all my buddies, and my wife, are FSU alum. Should be fun and looking forward to it. Always had respect for the Noles and we have the hatred for the gators in common.

This was the first LSU game I went to. It was against FSU in Death Valley and was a straight up Tiger arse kicking

As long as neither team blocks themselves it should be a good game.

Considering FSU sold out before LSU did, I doubt it was LSU fans buying up our tickets.

LSU is going to destroy Florida State. It’s going to be ugly.

f you're around the Dome before kickoff, come see us for some good food and drinks. That pink garage has a giant picture of Zion on it Now. We'll be right under him with a motor home, big arse tent, and a big arse bbq pit. And I'm easy to find; a big bald retard.

Haha I love it dude. If I look up at any point in my drunken stupor that day and see Giant Zion, I’ll be on the lookout for your setup.

Sounds like y’all’s DL will be a stern early test for our revamped OL. We’re not expecting them to be great, but compared to what we’ve been working with at OL since the late Jimbo days—which have consistently been some of the worst units in the power 5–we should be vastly improved. I assume y’all have some quick twitch pass rushers off the edge, and that could give us issues. In contrast to some of the chatter I’ve seen here so far, we’re going to be pretty big across both of our fronts this year (should average close to 320 across our OL, and our DT room is big, talented and deep) though none of our OTs really have elite feet or length, so a dynamic pass rush concerns me.

That said, our QB Travis is tough to corral and electric when he gets into the open field. I think we’re all hoping his pocket awareness improves this year (particularly as he should have more time to process what he’s seeing) and he doesn’t leave a clean pocket to go take a hit in the open field. His health is absolutely essential, as our backups are completely unproven.

Anyway, that’s enough for now, but I look forward to learning more about y’all’s squad and, more importantly, to getting after it in nawlins. Cheers boys.

If Norvell was smart, which don’t think he is, y’all would run QB draw all day because our Dline will be penetrating your Oline. Take advantage of missed lane assignments from any overly aggressive Dline.

But that’s how confident I am. We could tell you how to beat us and I still don’t think you can. Hope it’s a great game and the FSU fans enjoy Nola.

Sooo.. back to the question. How do you like your QB?

I believe in any of our 3 QBs over Travis. Y’all don’t have the skill positions to compete with us. A statement I never thought I’d say about FSU.

None of us have a clue about our QBs and who's gonna start, no matter what we say.

First, let me say I wish this was a home and home. Would love to visit Tiger stadium and meet a few LSU fans. Likewise, would have loved to have you all visit Doak and stop by our tailgate.

This not being a home and home is almost criminal
I would love to see LSU play in Doak

It sounds like it has the making of a great game. There will be unknowns on both sides. I think we have the more experienced unit. We will have a big edge on experience. 3rd year in system. 3rd year QB in the system. Many starters back on offense and defense. OL is much improved.

Highlighting a few of your points and I don't disagree with your evaluation other than RB, TE, Safety positions I'd call a push. LSU ST unit is a huge ?.

Experience & continuity is often overlooked here but it shouldn't be. Years ago I told my son-in-law before the Troy game LSU would probably lose or had a good chance too. Troy was disciplined and coming off a winning or championship season in their conference. LSU did not have a QB that could, will a team to win or come back from behind. Troy got up early and LSU shnit the bed.

Fast forward a couple years to UCF. They had continuity & experience. They were fired up and ready to play for a minute. Early on they had LSU fan gripping and fearing a loss. Unfortunately for UCF they woke the entire LSU team and staff up with a big hit on Joe Burrow. Then LSU torched and embarrassed them for their trouble.

Fast forward again to FSU vs LSU. According to your team's evaluation on experience LSU is faced with a formidable task. Kind of similar to UCLA vs LSU last season. FSU starts the season early with game under their belt before facing LSU. That can't hurt unless you lose a player to injury in the process.

The difference for FSU vs LSU in a few weeks is coaching. I'm sure most LSU fans would agree, we will all be shocked if CBK looks confused on the sidelines and doesn't have an answer for anything FSU throws at them. I expect a great game.

Edge coaching LSU

17 -24 LSU
