Frustrating to leave a runner on 3rd with 1 out.

I guess Lester told Jay not bunt him in.
What do i know but I'm not leaving that runner on 3rd. I'm going down squeezing Curiel in. Dont care who is batting. If Frey couldn't do it, put someone who would. Smh

but 1 good inning of hitting in the last 45 SEC innings doesn't support your story. We still left a runner on 3rd base(twice) with less than 2 outs and Jay didn't get either in. I know Jay isnt out there hitting the ball but sometimes he needs to take over and make these scenerios end succesfully by showing some sack and making the darn call. When your struggling at the plate with the whole line up, dont you understand the importance of even 1 run? I get your side of it but getting a run in when it's really needed and you don't bites hard. Bunting does not guarantee anything even when executed properly.

I may not say we have to bunt, but we damn friggin sure need to poke the bat on the ball and ground out to 2B...

It shouldn’t be that hard to intentionally hit a sac fly. Choke up and just serve it into the OF, don’t swing for the fences.
