They’ve bungled this pretty bad. I get it, but it just goes to show you managing a college football program is closer to going to a casino than it is to running a business.

Makes me feel a bit better about our current position

I think we all should be fed up with this kind of behavior from coaches. They manipulate and exploit the teams, the fans and the university to their own end: more money. it’s bullshite.

That happens every day in business all over the world. People who are "in demand" use that leverage to better their financial situation. You only care about the coaches in this situation because they have an impact on your entertainment hobby.

Ole Miss is correct: the program is bigger than one man

The program hasn't been nationally relevant in 60+ years until that "one man" became the HC. Is it frustrating to be leveraged by your HC every year? Of course. But that is often the price of success. No one wants to hire your bad coach. Could OM find someone better? I guess. Anything is possible. But history says it's unlikely.

LSU dealt with this when Saban was around. It just didn't seem as big because there weren't social media and a constant flow of information. But that annoyance was the price of success LSU had not had in 40+ years.

If you have a great employee others want to hire him/her. That's life.

GOOD. Only OM could be reactionary enough to fire the only coach who's got them anywhere in 60 years because they got their feelings hurt.

Ole Miss is the epitome of two arrogant to see how ignorant you are
