Is Labas a go? Or is he also done for the year?

Quote from the paper from Paul when asked about that after the game was:

"Don't ask me that."

So, If he does know, he's not sharing it, to my knowledge.

IMO, you're looking at Beck, the other Petersen, or Labas if he can go.

Odds are good that we’ll need to play 5 in 4 to get out if the regional. So we should give it a full go and see what we have today.

Scheduled for 6:30, but there are games at 10 and 3, so I wouldn't expect it to start on time.

I don't think Labas will be available. Paul has said too recently that he has soreness in his shoulder. A spot in the regionals is secured. Labas needs to rest the shoulder to have a chance to pitch in the regionals next week.

Johnny wholestaff rest of way in SECT, maybe throw Hess on Saturday if we get there. Cant imagine throwing him sunday because he will likely pitch friday in the NCAA tournament

Luke Johnson Twitter

I was thinking about this. Here are the guys who should be available.

Beck (my guess)
Vietmeier
Kodros
Petersen
Moffitt

And guys who might be good for an inning or two
Hess
Bush
Sanders (pushing it)

Could Cabrera give you an inning or two if absolutely necessary?

So far in the tourney

Bain has thrown 31 pitches
Fontenot has thrown 16

Peterson has thrown 77

Luke Johnson re Fontenot

quote:

I didn’t know if he would be ready to throw back to back nights. He was dealing with an issue Wednesday that kept him out.
