I hope they redshirt Clement, because he will get more PT later on in his career if he redshirts this year. We are stacked at DE this year. He will be a good addition to the rotation next year.

Of those listed, the most likely to play is JJ. If one of our QBs gets injured or looks bad, you better believe he will get in the rotation and should have some snaps before that.
But removing his redshirt is going to cause some real conflict bc Lee is on the same eligibility footing with JJ. I think if one or the other becomes dominant then the other will probably transfer. Both are very good and either one should feel slighted by the prospect of being second string. It will damage their draft status and earnings potential if so. Then gotta think about RS coming up. Will be drama, I assure you.

eh
none of our current QBs has the potential of JR, and there wasn't drama on the team with JR-MF

quote:Because a medical redshirt is still a redshirt. And as long as they don't play beyond a certain amount or beyond a certain point in the season, they are still eligible for a medical redshirt, which is indeed a form of redshirt . . . hence the term "medical redshirt."
No. Why do we go through this every year?
Andrew Hatch attempted two passes last year, and he redshirted. So your "one play and they can't redshirt" is clearly not the case, and injury redshirts are not at all an uncommon phenomenon.

Where did this list come from? Not accurate. Some of the guys listed didn't play last week.
From lsusports.net official boxscore game participation.

Sorry, but that's just wrong. Whether the injury is real or not, it's still claimed under injury. Stop with the misinformation. Too many people are holding onto this mistaken belief.

a lot of our freshmen who play in these early games get magical injuries and medical redshirts
Didn't Herm have a spider bite or something to get his?
