You are a fking idiot. There are very few people on this board blindly supporting O. MANY more blind haters, like yourself. Most of the rational/intelligent taking a wait and see. frick off loser.

Yes and true but it does not fix the potential problem...

I didn't "blame" him for the recruiting class. I simply stated that 5 players left on his watch after he was hired. Some tried to blame that on Miles even though he was gone anywhere from several months to nearly a year before the attrition actually occurred. I didn't mention recuruiting until someone tried to make a case the roster needed to be purged.
I even said Miles is to blame if you want to talk about quality of the starters, but the numbers problem (only having 11 scholarship bodies in camp) is something that transpired after Orgeron took over. It isn't that complicated.

It isn't that complicated, one should wait till the season ends to judge Orgeron and his staff. But some fans are whining before the season even starts.

In this thread we're discussing the number of freshmen getting extended reps due to the lack of scholarship players along the offensive line. Please try to stay on topic.

Listed below, are some key components that need to play-out through the season, before judging and whining.
How well LSU's QB develops and gains confidence under such conditions remains to be seen.
Current situation not necessarily the fault of coach O, but... it's... still... his... job... to somehow manage successfully.

On a positive note, can LSU fans read anything into this line-up in two years, like a possible Natty?

LMAO, What board are you reading? You must troll several boards if you think only a few people in here are blindly supporting O. This board is full of "blindly loyal" O supporters. Just like this OP here. I'm one of the few thats been saying lets wait and see before we king him or make excuses for him. Hopefully, hes the right guy at the right time, only time will tell.
So much fail in your ignorant post(s), almost all of them. Go troll elsewhere.
Are you mad at the world everyday?

man, you are full of ca-ca. i'll tell you right now, I desparately wanted jimbo as LSU's HC and was very disappointed that we didn't get one of several others. but coach O IS OUR frickING HEAD FOOTBALL COACH right at this very fricking minute!!! therefore, I am fricking blindly supporting him. I blindly support LSU.
if he fails, I will quit supporting him, but so far he has done well. not perfect, but a hell of a lot better than Miles was doing.

Hey Grandad I didnt say it was a bad thing for some of you to be blindly loyal. At least youre man enough to admit it. Supporting him is one thing. making excuses for him is another.
I hope he works out and i wiil give him my support, but not blindly only objectively. That doesnt make me right and you wrong. To each their own.
But this type of crap about if somehow we can just get by BYU, it will be an indication of how good a coach he is, is just not factual.
The expectations at LSU are and should be very high. Beating BYU should be and is expected. Attrition happens to almost all teams during the season. He doesnt get any brownie points for somehow getting by BYU in Houston.

If LSU loses to BYU, someone better get out the pitchforks.

Based on what? Miles consistently signed top 5-10 classes. Miles brought Aranda here. Miles hired big name OC's. O hasn't "done" anything yet.

If LSU loses close ones to BYU and Miss St. but wins out afterwards beating Fla, Ala, and Tenn then what?

Not so fast bud! Now you're being dishonest, from the looks of the 1st scrimmage, Coach O appears to have signed one of best LSU recruiting classes of all time at QB, OL, DL, LB and DB. So please stop with "O hasn't accomplished anything bullshite. No bulshite allowed!

His argument was that what O has done is better than what Miles was doing. Miles signed top classes almost every year. Also, this class hasn't done anything on the field yet, so we don't know how good they really are.

I will say O shouldn't have lost to teams with 50% of the talent LSU has. I will say that he wasted a perfectly good NC run by squandering games to inferior opponents.

Lest we not forget O lost 7/10 of LA's best players in this class. A feet that hasn't been accomplished since the late 90's.
