Lamar got some playing time and is possibly going to start. Kwon was much hyped then moves up the depth chart and now is dropping back on the depth chart. Anyone know what is going on with our linebackers.

Barrow has been a welcome surprise and Minter is solid. But the third spot seems to be very dynamic. Anyone have any insight or opinions ? What is going on at that spot with the freshman playing musical chairs. What should be going on! I am confused and haven't analysed any of the games for linebacker play other than early on with Minter.

Kwon was the best out of them, but broke his ankle against Florida. In all they are a very good group and will be develop great under Chavis

The third spot being dynamic excites me more than anything. It shows that there is good competition in practice and the players are pushing each other to become better. The future is bright for the LB corps

It's real shame considering his high level of play before injury and the fact he missed his senior season of HS because of injury as well.

kwon was starting to round into form then got hurt. Apparently Louis has passed up Muncie now. Hope he sticks his nose in there this week, he didnt do much vs USC.

One thing is for sure, Chavis has done an amazing job developing talent at the LB position.

Debo should get more PT at barrow's position. Barrow is solid against inside run but is carrying a piano on his back on anything outside or in coverage.

Ugh, Kwon was the starter... Did you watch the UF game? Someone landed on the side of his leg, broken ankle out for the season I beleive.

ETA: apparently like 6 people beat me to it.

Exactly my thoughts. I think our 3d linebacker spot is really going to showcase our defense going forward. Hopefully Kwon comes back next year the way he started. This freshman group will be exciting with their athleticism.

Barrow worries me. Watching him vs SC he was always a step slow and had a poor game (taking out our own players during their big down field pass play, biting on the fake pitch during the big option gain they had, leaving receivers wide open etc.).

We need someone with more foot speed there and better instincts. I think he will get picked on vs TAM this weekend.

Debo is better than Muncie and Louis IMO
