You can submit a request but don’t be surprised when it takes 3 months to get them due to “paperwork”.

And “lost” emails.

I’m going to submit a PRR for all emails regarding the suspension of Will Wade and witholding of Javonte Smart from play since 7 AM, Thursday March 7 from the BOS, Joe Alleva, F. King, Skinner, and LSU compliance. Sound good?

Leave out Javonte in the request. They could say it violates FERPA and deny your whole request, even if it's just a cop out.

Oh they do... but the issue is most of the time is they want an active investigation/file. Which is also where I think this request may fall but which is why I say keep it narrow in scope and there's a better chance. Either way dont expect the record for a month or so... The three days to respond is just that Yes we can get you the record or No we cannot.

This email is to acknowledge receipt of your Public Record Request, attached hereto, pursuant to Louisiana Public Records Law.  LSU is currently reviewing your request and will be back in communication.

Please acknowledge receipt of this email.  Thank you.

They have met the obligation to respond. Expecting the next email to say get out of here!

Ya'll don't think media outlets haven't already done this and you are the first to think it up?

Honestly, no

It was a random Miss State fan that did a FOIA request and brought Freeze down

These guys would have to be stupid to use emails that could be public record.

Not saying they comply, but they’re not supppsed to use private emails discussing state business.

Aren’t those meetings and the contents discussed at said meetings supposed to be documented as well?
