His RB rotations are awful. No rhyme or reason.

So many on here think THIS is the guy to right the ship based on a dang press conference?!?

Who thinks this? He's been a HC before so he's the logical choice to limp through the remaining schedule as interim. He's not a candidate longterm.

Maybe they aren’t his rotations?

This is a bit of a stretch and an easy blame. There are so many nuances to the run game, it’s not as easy as blaming the rb coach. Offensive line, cadence, sequence of places, manipulation through motions, line splits, formations, etc….

Also, a rb coach is a big part of it. Not saying Frank is not. But from what a few talking heads are saying about Alex Atkins being more involved in the run game the last few weeks, there has been a significant improvement. We all saw Harlem Berry get almost 6 yds a carry on Sat in the first half. Then the run game dissappeared. We started to show improvement against Vandy, which is a top 25 run defense.

We have the horses to run the ball at a high level, we suck at executing it from the top down.

The run game is a mindset. We just have not made a commitment to it.

I want to hear more about his drinking problem. Did that play a part in the morality clause settlement?

His nasty demeanor and bright red face suggest that the rumor is true.

Our RBs look pretty solid....

I don't think the issue with our running game is the actual backs

Running the ball is heavily influenced by the offensive line's performance. It also depends on the offensive coordinator's decisions, as they are the ones calling the plays. Sloan moved away from the running game, even though in the past three games, we averaged 6.0 yards per carry.

I am pretty sure he is the one who decided to start a freshman last game, and I believe he will continue to do so.

We ran the ball effectively against aTm until it was abandoned.
