They addressed the defense in a big way yesterday. Safety and corner were two positions speculated that they may draft at #4. Not anymore. Also picked up Calais Campbell. Johnathan Allen is another name mentioned but I think his arthritic shoulder will scare teams from taking him so high. Traded for right tackle Branden Albert. Definitely have got to address the guard position but that will obviously not be done with the #4 pick.

Come on over Leonard!!! Hope like hell it happens.

No doubt. As a Saints fan too that would be huge as well.

I'm kind of hoping he goes to the jets. Just so I can call them Lenny and the Jets.

I don't see any way that Jamal doesn't go to the Jags.
Fournette is going to the Panthers.

The Saints are in for 10-15 years of arse kicking from the Panthers

I addressed this in my first three sentences. They signed a safety and a corner yesterday in first day of free agency.

Meant to also say in the OP: Coughlin LOVES big, strong, fast backs. That is one thing that really gives me hope. I'm actually starting to get worried now though that someone may take him in the first three spots. Saw a mock somewhere (can't remember where) that had him going 2nd.

Don't get your hopes up. The Jags will probably resort to their usual pattern of picking a Gator. LOL
Plus, besides Toefield and a couple of lower round picks like Loston how many times has the Jag organization taken Tigers?
BTW, the NFL writer for ESPN thinks that the Jags made terrible free agent decisions with Campbell and Bouye.
However, it would be cool to see Fournette in Jax and break Fred Taylors rushing records.

Trying not to but keep coming back to Coughlin's love of Fournette types.

Indeed it would.

Fred Taylor and MJD were enough for me. If LF7 goes to Jax, I think I'll cry real tears.

This this this.

But it's going to happen. Next chapter of the LA sports jinx.

Am I the only one that has warmed up to the idea of him going to Cleveland?

I know Garrett has to go 1 and it's been a black hole for decades, but if they could package some of their other picks to move back up into the top 10 for a second pick I actually think they could be poised to get something going there.

They have put together an outstanding OL, and Elliot showed how important that is for a rookie RB. They also have some nice pieces at WR and if they can bring in anything serviceable at QB, maybe Cutler or even Cousins or Romo, LF could really become the face of that franchise and lead them on a run.

Imagine him wearing the uniform that Jim Brown wore and bringing that city a title the way Lebron did.

I know it would tough to work out, but I'm hoping Cleveland is still in play even though it wouldn't be the #1 pick.

I wish Buga the best, no matter where he ends up. But I really hope he goes somewhere with a decent offensive line.

Carolina would NOT be ideal.

I doubt what you think has any relevance to LF's final destination.

No offense, but that Jax O-line doesn't hype me for LF's career.

Want to see him with a decent QB/O-line combo, but doesn't look like that's happening unless he unites with Trae in Carolina according to the draft order

The Jags haven't had a great general manager since Coughlin left. He's back now and most are hopeful that this team will look like the Jags we use to love. Sometimes dreams do come true??
