He’s only good when he can build up speed and outrun people. No vision. Not much shiftiness. Doesn’t break tackles. He can be a pouting bitch too who can negatively impact a teams culture.

You know you’ve fallen off a cliff when Ronald Jones has clearly beaten you out. You have to put the work in to be good in the pros and I don’t think LF puts that much time into getting better. He just wants to always let his athleticism get him by but everyone in the NFL is just as athletic.

it was really dumb for the Jags to pick a RB with such a high pick, particularly a power back who's going to have a short NFL lifespan.
I realize he's now with the Bucs, but what a terrible pick by the Jags. And that's not hindsight - I said it at the time.

I thought he was a definite NFL star, but when you start believing all your press clippings, quit working hard and start hanging around the wrong people, your career can nosedive in no time.

I think he’s probably a product of shite coaches and never really “learning” to play the position.
I’m sure that his whole life, he just leaned on his sheer size and athleticism to excel. He was always bigger, faster, and stronger than his opponents - SEC play included.
However, in the NFL, that gap is largely tempered and you actually have to learn to play the position, make reads, hit your holes, etc.

I remember when this board went berserk when LSU landed him. An elite college back for sure but not the messiah savior everyone talked him up to be. Guys like CEH and Addai were better for LSU because they produced when it mattered.
