so Foster can graduate and remain eligible. Good for him. Can we put this to rest now. He is not the first student ever to have a grade raised, especially his last semester of college. He's also not the first 5th year senior to try to coast his last semester in school

You got about 3 things wrong there

such as?
if his grade was raised as someone said was reported on the radio, he made the minimum he needed to get credit for his major. so still on pace to graduate, no?
he was declared eligible, that's a fact.
i also don't see how or why you'd try to dispute that he's not the first person to win an appeal or first 5th year to coast his last semester.
but please tell me what was incorrect

He's not going to graduate (this year). The hours won't be able to go towards his major.
He didn't get a grade changed. He got a C. It remained a C. It just wasn't good enough to go toward his major.
He's not a 5th year senior. His freshman year was 2012.

then why did charles hanegriff report on the radio his grade was also raised?

Thousands have graduated and remained eligible until the season completed. Not sure about the significance of that.
where did i say it was significant that he's simply eligible. are you saying it's not significant that he was ruled ineligible and had to appeal that, and then won said appeal?

ok, my mistake. how bout plenty of people try to coast in their final semester of school, or do you want to dispute that as well.

Because reporters are always right.
I misunderstood you at first. See my edit. You were still wrong
Yes. People coast. How profound of you.

wasn't trying to be profound. not sure where you got that. people have been bashing him for coasting all semester as if he's the first student in history to scrape by his last semester

who are you to say he's wrong?

People bashed him because he was irresponsible. Which he's admitted to. Him being eligible now doesn't change that.
Who are you to say I'm wrong?

I'd take Charles Hanegriff's word over yours. No, reporters are not always right, but I'm sorry, I'll take the word of him over an anonymous poster on a message board. That fair enough for you?

No, the whole avoidable situation is just terrible.

Hannigriff is 100% correct about the situation. Foster got his grade changed AND was never ineligible as LSU compliance cant get its head out its arse. LSU compliance hates LSU sports.

Nah; he looks like Christian Bale. I'm Batman.

Is anyone going to spell HANAGRIFF right in this thread?

Awww, poor baby. Screw him. He failed a class (a D when a C is required is failing). If he was my kid, and under 18, I'd have pulled his arse out of baseball.
Look. I respect everyone's position.
