I'm not as high on BK as others here, but at major college football programs there's not enough coaching hours to coddle every player on the roster. Couple that with the revolving door at DL coach and it's highly possible he was just lost in the fray.
Also, no offense to Wiggins but there's been other much more talented and highly-rated players than him that ended up being towel-wavers on the bench here. It happens. He could end up being a good player at Colorado, but LSU needs players that are ready to go.

What's the issue with this? Coming out of HS everyone knew he needed motivation and was raw. He had a horrible DC in House and no DL coach while he was here for an entire season. I see nothing wrong in what he said.

So, the kid wanted someone to reassure him everyday? Maybe LSU wasn't a good fit for him and I'm okay with that. No one should have to reassure a grown man that he's doing everything right. Put in the extra time and work, and you'll see the results
And yes even grown men sometimes need that reassurance.
