Was the massey a component of the BCS? Yes.

Did the BCS ultimately fail due to its bias? Yes.

You've got no legs left to stand on son.

Hey man, let's make stuff up, find obscure blogs that agree then claim victory!

You're typical approach.

The playoffs are about money, which is why they will expand

Theres a reason you're fighting this fight by yourself. It's because hardly anyone here believes the BCS, or its component the massey composite, are unbiased outfits. Even fewer people will agree with you that the AP poll is an unbiased outfit.

You took a stance, dug in for several hours, and didnt have a single person come to your defense.

That's telling.

The BCS was losing money because people stopped watching. People stopped watching because they didnt like the selection process being used.

This isn't rocket science.

No, it's because you've been arguing the same shite for 24 hours and everyone else is asleep.

The BCS didn't fold because of biased polls. You literally pulled that out of your arse

Ok man. The BCS failure had nothing to do with bias. We will just ignore the pages and pages of articles written on the subject.

It's almost like more eyeballs on the television means more money.

Shocking.

The ratings were as high or higher than the playoff championship games

Another fallacy

People had no problem arguing point earlier. The moment you started telling everyone that the polls are unbiased.....

The ratings jumped 4 points for the first playoff.

The highest rated games were BCS

Look at the last two playoff championships

There's no negligible difference

It's about the two extra games, not this fictional "anti bias" thing you pulled out your arse

And expansion is already being discussed. People dont like the results of the picks, they dont watch the games and the bottom line suffers.

Simple really.
