It isn’t like the “haters” start threads constantly saying how bad O is.
But this board is constantly bombarded with asinine thoughts that pop into people’s heads to try and prop up or make run of the mill accomplishments by this staff seem extraordinary.
It isn’t until those occasions that some of the more sensible and honest posters enter these threads try to point out the hypocrisy or outright inaccuracies to try to bring the conversation back to reality.
The team appears set for a serious run in 2019, meaning 11-1, and yet these idiots continue to try to lower expectations while at he same time telling us how great things are.
The “haters” are content to sit back and watch this staff succeed or fail without any excuses, but the apologists just can’t help themselves and have to try to paint a narrative to protect the horse they backed in case he fails to achieve the type of success his predecessors did.
The “haters” will be happy to admit our doubts and fears were unfounded if the team reaches its potential, unlike in 2016-2018 (the same way it failed to in 2013-2015 under the previous coach).
There is no question in my mind the apologists will fail to acknowledge their own misjudgments if the team does not reach their potential for the fourth straight season under Orgeron’s leadership.

Weird, but "cheerios" aren't the reason this thread has dragged on forever.
The insecurity is evident on both extremes, which us absolutely childish.
So me feel a need to prop him up, others tear him down and it's like a 4th grade booger flicking contest that's never going to end.

I've never dodged a thing in this thread. I merely pointed out the flaw in your argument. You can't handle being shown to be wrong so you've tried trolling, deflecting, trolling again and now it's back to deflecting. Watching you squirm around is hilarious.

Nah. What's happened here is I've presented a stance that you don't like. I've proceeded to back that stance with verifiable facts and data.
You've countered with your opinion. You've provided exactly zero verifiable facts to back your opinion. You just keep repeating your opinion like that somehow makes it more true. You then started claiming a "win" in a debate that you've provided exactly zero verifiable data to support your stance.

Because Ben does not operate in facts. Instead he argues endlessly about his opinions. Whenever someone post facts to support their opinion, Ben counters by saying that person's facts are stupid. He never has facts to back his opinions. He really believes his opinion should be accepted as fact. There is no other way to look at it, other than to just accept that he is that stupid.

Because it's never been about which team is better it the fact that you can't objectively draw a conclusion one way or another. I can't believe that you are acting like you don't get that point now. You got it earlier.
I'm adamant because the poster loves to fling the word facts at other posters but doesn't hold himself to those same standards.
