Let’s see... Kirby Smart was on staff at LSU as well as Jimbo Fisher. If anything, Saban underachieved a little bit had he stayed until 2007, he wins 3 more championships.
8 National Championships since 2003 AS HEAD COACHES (Saban, Miles, Fisher)
4 Runner-up finishes AS HEAD COACHES. (Saban, Miles, Smart)
That’s playing in 10 of the 16 games yet NONE ON THIS STAFF HAS EVEN BEEN A OFFENSIVE OR DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR ON ANY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM.
