I suspect that he is not making the cut in the classroom and is going the JUCO route to improve his academics. Otherwise he would transfer to a D1 school.

He's going Juco with the goal of transferring back to a D-1 school.
No, Mississippi Gulf Coast is not "Last Chance U," but it is part of the MACJC like East Mississippi. There's more Division One talent in that Juco conference than you can shake a stick at.

I saw an article link on here that mentioned he is having off the field trouble. It did not elaborate. Might have been SDS source but subject was transfers out of program at LSU.
