The problem is he has not really done his time in the ranks yet, and when he is done he will probably be too expensive for us.
When has any assistant coach proved to be too expensive for LSU?

Right now everyone is pissed we didn’t hire him. But NIL with Miami is strong. Let’s see how he coaches but don’t be fooled if we look like shite in the secondary a call won’t be made.
Is he a better coach than Raymond? Let’s see if Miami lands DJ Pickett over Oregon..

No I guess not, but I feel like we could have gotten him cheaper this year and he would be much more hungry than Raymond.
But Raymond is a huge upgrade over what we had, so there is that. I understand getting Raymond but I would have liked to get chevis back in purple n gold sooner rather then later and give Raymond another opportunity to pump us for cash and causing a bidding war in a year or two the fudge our recruiting and badmouth Kelly later etc.
But I’m not a coach and have no insight just speculation

@Chipand2Putts,
Thank you for the love, I'm not coaching I'm just here back in South Florida, enjoying the game of Golf and family.
