In my opinion, the decision to keep JL on the bench after his first int ruined his confidence. Let's hope he gets it back because we will need to score more than 9 points against Arkansas.

Also, it was clear that Ford was having success. I do not know why they continued to test the middle with Ware when Ford was doing well on the edge.

The game was one for the ages, and let's hope that the ghost of Crowton ball does not make the trip back to BR.

Bama's defense is sick. Remember that Arky only scored 13 or 14 on them. So I'm not worried about our offense.

JL is tougher than you give him credit for.

I agree on Ford, but have to disagree on Lee. He was terrified in the pocket and needed to be benched. When a quarterback hurries his throws so he can turn almost completely around before getting hit, that is a bad sign that he is too scared to be in there. On the long bomb to Shepard by Jefferson, JJ stood strong in the pocket and delivered the pass with his feet planted even though he saw that he was about to get blasted. JJ needed to be in that game. Lee may have thrown at least a couple more interceptions if we wouldnt have had JJ to go to.

i agree 100% i dont understand how people cant see how scared lee is of getting hit.not trying to bash him hes played great this year and i like lee.as long as we can run the ball and keep lee from getting hit he will be needed in future games.

Some of y'all act like Lee is a fragile little candy arse puss.

He's not. I am sure that he was bummed that he was intercepted and he should be. He shouldn't have thrown when #2 was intercepted, or at least thrown it way.

Les did what he thought best for the team to pull out a W in a very hostile environment with a defense in many ways as good if not better than ours. He pulled JJ for Lee in situations and vice versa.

EVERYBODY has been scoring points on Arkansas. it's not like our offense will be playing against Bama's defense on 11/25. Lee will light up WKU and Ole Miss, the Bama game will be behind him soon imo.

Arkansas is quietly improving and getting healthy. We will see you an a few weeks, it is still The SEC.

Other than Ford, the rest of the commentary is pure garbage.

The play calling is pure crap and does not set up a quarterback for success.

It's a miracle that we won but I'll certainly take. Every team has a tough outing and this was ours. You have to give credit to Bama's D.

You also have to say that Bama's play selection was better. Put Lee in Bama's offense and he has an opportunity for success.

Lee knew what time it was and that for us to have the best chance to win, JJ needed to be in there. They were playing man to man and run blitzing alot. We had to neutralize some of that with JJ's mobility. It was still extremely tough sledding with JJ in there. Lee will be fine and I think will still be the starter. There won't even be a hiccup with all of this, which further proves what an incredible coaching job Miles has done and is doing.

Mannnn, please shut up and get out of here with that Big12 style of football (heavy on the offense, lite on the defense.)

You can't possibly think that you guys strike fear in the hearts of a team that has gone through what LSU has while you struggle against A&M, Vandy, and Ole Miss. Really?

Arkie-poo will be approached and played as if they are Bama, but it won't be because Arkie-poo is Bama. It' just the attitude that LSU is taking into each week. Arkie won't be taken lightly and definitely won't be feared.

ridiculously stupid post. Go back and watch your last four games. Then go back and watch your game in Tuscaloosa.

You do not feel as though going back to Lee the next series after his first int would have helped? I agree with the play calling observation and you need to lay off the caffeine. Too early to be playing Internet tough guy.

Your over thinking this. Miles and staff did what they had to do to win the game. Give Lee more credit than this. I seriously doubt his confidence has been ruined by 2 picks. He had a bad game, it is what it is.

Beating most likely our toughest opponent for the entire season including the national championship far outweighs worrying about a grown man's feelings. He'll get over it and go on to light up WKU.

Noted. In my opinion, the decision to keep JL on the bench after his first int may have saved his confidence to come back and win another day. Coach Miles did the right thing for the team in making that decision. JL is not shattered - he's made of stronger stuff than that. And the great thing is that JJ isn't shattered either. And he's been on the bench a lot longer this season than just a half.

Lee would have threw that game away. I usually prefer Lee over Jeff, but Les made the right call in pulling him.
