So take out the last 5 fouls and it's 20-15.

That's your definition of HORRENDOUS!!!

exaggerate much?

The point of emphasis was the FT disparity on absolute bullshite calls against Howard and the fact that Butler was in the double bonus with 11 minutes to go while they only had 4 team fouls.

If you want to go over the top in your objectivism, be my guest. You're still wrong though.

No way dude.

It was the refs.

They are against LSU EVERY single game we play, in EVERy single sport too.

See, Butler had some cheap reach-ins and several moving picks (maybe about half of the moving picks they ran were called) but it doesn't put people on the line. That's a major difference.

And we didn't have ANY of those right?

Cause, like I said, LSU gets shafted by the refs in every sport, every game.

I know, we just have to deal with it.

But did you see the Butler boards?

They were such losers, haha.

They complained about the refs, OMG!!!

They said mean things about Thornton. GRR!!!

This thread is hilarious. We dont have to go to some other team's board to see that, we got enough of it here, lol.

You don't think Howard in particular got a huge benefit of the doubt? He traveled twice in the first half, twice fell on our players (although I can see why he wasn't called for a foul when he fell on thorton), hooked our player and WE got called for the foul, got his 4th foul but somehow his teammate got the call, he went to the loose ball with our defender equally but somehow we fouled, ect.

This is all specific obvious stuff revolving around one player. I was on a neutral sports board, where Butler had more fans because they are the underdog, and even there the comments were how Butler was getting more calls most of the game.

Although I will say, even with more calls against us today, it was still better than SEC crews we have been seeing all year long.

No. He doesn't, because he is going to be over-the-top objective and anti-Tigerdroppings. He and Jimmy Ott should share a room together.

Butler fans are such assholes, completely different from the great Iona fans.

LSU's 7th foul was at 11:03 mark...Butler shot one and one. Butler was not in the double bonus until 3:48 left in the game.

At 11 minutes left in the game LSU had 7 fouls and Butler had 4.

Sure, I thought we got the bad end of the officiating today.

But it wasn't NEARLY like what people are saying here, nor do I let it bother me.

Big deal, we need to overcome that.

In a season, sometimes it's evenly officiated, sometimes you get teh worst of it, and other times you get teh best of it.

IT ALL EVENS OUT!!!

Contrary to what we read on the boards, it all evens out.

I agree in general with what you are saying, it doesn't make it any less frustrating at the time for a sports fan. You just want it as even as possible so the guys can earn/not earn their victory.

I think we are due for an even game/a game where the calls go our way. Hopefully that will come Saturday.

CKellogg said that. I didn't check the PBP far back enough past seeing that Butler committed 5 fouls in the last minute of the game.

Regardless, I think LSU was clearly on the short end of the stick especially with respect to fouls committed in the post.
