No, It's about right for a Basketball coach to rebuild the disaster that is LSU Basketball. But I think it could be a Tournament team in 2 Years with a Couple key recruits.

The PMAC sucks.
What can LSU do to Improve the PMAC ??
It's dated, and has a old feel to it. The configuration of the PMAC, The seating isn't that great. Seems like a realignment of the inside would help, even if the seating is reduced.

6 years means nothing without knowing the details of the contract
JA hired a head coach who is an up and comer with 2 years exp at a major university. Time will tell if the 4 years under smart was Wade or Smart
2015–16 25–11 14–4 T–1st NCAA Round of 32
2016–17 VCU 26–9 14–4 2nd NCAA Round of 64
IF JA and TAF do not get behind the program Wade will be coaching with one hand tied behind his back

Yes because the fact they are a final four contender every year has nothing to do with it. LSU is hoping to get back to the nit. There is a big fricking difference.

Dear God, he's 34 years old. He hasn't done anything long enough for a "long and illustrious track record".

Wade knows this program is broken and will prob need 3 seasons to fix this mess.
Temple should be shelling out the cash for the first three years it takes to fix the dumpster fire excuse of a coach we got rid of.

Well I don't think we're getting a new arena any time soon, we just spent huge upgrading the PMAC and building brand new locker room facilities (which are very nice by the way) in it and brand new practice facility, meeting rooms, etc. So new arena not on the books for probably a decade or so at the earliest would be my guess.

Duke has a great basketball product despite the fact that they play in a 70+ year old glorified high school gym that doesn't hold 10,000 people.
why do you need 15-18k people?
so everybody can see what an empty arena looks like?

2 years at a major university does not qualify the above statement

I think you're both too stupid to realize he doesn't have a point.

I realize this is difficult for you to understand, but Duke's glorified high school gym has not stopped them from being very successful (which was my point to begin with). The PMAC is not the greatest, but if you put a good coach out there with a good product, people will come and so will recruits. The thought that the PMAC is holding us back in some way is just that - a thought.
