and how many starters are returning and how good so and so will be or not be and worrying about our depth at the ? position..... One think I know from watching LSU over the last 30 years is to enjoy "this team" and let next year happen as it may. If we never enjoy the moment we are in then when will we enjoy this moment?

This is one of the few seasons in a while where i am more excited about the current season than the potential of the next season.

The future is here. The future is now.

Thanks for re-focusing me coach! I can't fathom how difficult it is to enjoy the present while ALSO being able to discuss the future. That mindset is how me, as a fan, is going to let Vandy upset us.

This is a LSU discussion board. While I know this might sound crazy, some people have the unique ability to enjoy the present AND discuss the future.

Im not a genius or anything, but my mind can think about different topics. For instance, I may be enjoying today (Tuesday), but I can also look forward to Saturday. You should try it!

Since LSU is guaranteed 8 wins this year after beating texas, I am beginning to look forward to next year to see what the path is to 8 wins.

This years path to 8 wins was

ga state
beat one of texas or bowl game opponent
nw state
vandy
Utah st
beat one of State, Florida, Auburn, or A&M
ole miss
Arkansas

Probably when we get our first cold front it will be time to take a look at the path to 8 wins next year.

You just told fans not to get too in depth with their sports discussions on a sports forum. Do you also get mad at people for farting in bathrooms?

Going to be another huge game. I think Texas will be a top 4 team heading into next season. That’s a young team and Ellhinger will be back for his senior year. Good thing is we’ll have them in Tiger Stadium likely at night.
