According to the official statement released by LSU he along with others, suspended Wade. This has been explained to you. This makes your statement above false. Sorry this hurts your feelings but it’s your problem and not for the rest of us to solve for you.

Why not go to the meeting with your attorney and let the attorney sensor what questions can and can’t be answered?

You’ve just turned your attorney into a witnesss subject to be subpoenaed

I don't see why that couldn't have happened. It's one of the reasons I think the story from King and Alleva is bullshite.

Alleva and King are just trying to save their own asses. They don’t give a shite about LSU other than they want their checks.

What does suspending him now do?
knowing what alexander said about the jimbo deal, i suspect it's to "save face" in the public eye, i.e. "optics." the university has to appear to be doing something about impropriety. that's why i don't agree with alleva/alexander. support wade and wait until all the facts are out. yeah, wade messed up by not being totally forthcoming but, guess what? that's bball these days. you chalk it up to what it takes to win. stop being naive about it.

what i'm hoping is that alexander/alleva are savvy enough to suspend wade/smart until next week. then reinstate them with the statement that they looked into the matter and don't have a reason to continue holding them out which punishes the team and lsu athletics. however, i doubt very seriously that alleva and alexander are going to do something that reasonable.

ultimately, i think wade resigns. the university has proven they are willing to throw him under the bus for the sake of appearance. then we get a reaction hiring like trent johnson. a&m fires kennedy and hires wade. lsu then has to fight scott drew and wade for recruits. thank you f. king alexander

$100 says Alleva would've been wearing a wire. Smart move, Willy.

Because it was Alexander’s decision. Everyone is blaming Alleva for a decision that was made over his head.

Nope I'm just asking what would you do if it had been you in Wade's position with an attorney who said NO to a meeting.
So what would you do if you’re LSU?

It doesn’t matter what we’d do if we were Wade. It matters what LSU does.

Wade was suspended for insubordination! He probably could have been fired for it. At least this way, the administration left the door open for him to come back if this mess is favorably resolved.

The administration has to do what's best for the university and that would have to start by questioning the only person who knows what really happened or was said. How could they know if they should stand behind him, and why should they, if he wouldn't tell them the truth? He didn't cooperate so they had no other choice...except, again, to fire him.

Your handle must be how you go through life!

Would have went and had school attorney present so all could be attorney client privilege info. He simply can’t speak with them if that info can be subpoenaed.

Absolutely not.

The meeting is not protected by attorney client privilege, and you bet your arse F King would roll on him even if he did nothing wrong.

And at that point, your lawyers would tell you to have a nice day and good luck with your future.
