Does anyone think Harris will be drafted by an NFL team?

I think not, CFL or AFL, maybe.

I'd like to know what other schools actually offered scholarships to the ones we signed.

Harris was offered by Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Baylor, Miss St, Ohio st, OM, Aggy, UTa, UTk, Oregon etc.

In the NFL? Because it's not happening in college.

And here you have the core of Cam and Miles' offensive failures.

The offense require a NFL caliber QB to run efficiently, which are few and far between.

Maybe. Or maybe theyre saying "leave Miles alone and think about the shitty QB".

I think something along the lines of "it's not their fault" would be said at some point then. Don't you?

Yeah, I'll say that is true. But when it comes to basics, are we saying it takes an NFL QB to drop 7 steps and not over throw a receiver? I don't think something that basic should require top 5 college qb skill.

Yes. 7 step drops have never been heavily utilized by college teams, unless they had a QB with the talent to do it.

30-40 years ago it was the veer that was popular to simplify the game. 10-15 years ago it was the read option. Now it's an up tempo spread with one read throws.

One would hope so but I think we both know that people leave a lot off when they type and so you see people revisit their previous point constantly instead of moving the debate forward.

This age of FB and Twitter, etc. means people type lazy, fast comments and in their head they think their point is clear but to the listener there is left a lot of room for interpretation. Many people try to make a 200 word point in 50 words or less. Confusion then sets in.

You really must've blanked during the JJ/JL years.

They combined to lead LSU to its greatest season ever, before the bama rematch. Serviceable is not the same as a bust. I don't recall any lofty expectations for JJ when he signed. I think more was expected out of JL when he signed. Russell Shephard is the real head scratcher. But to call j Lee and JJ busts when they both played QB well enough for LSU to go 12-0 against a difficult schedule is pretty crazy. Brandon Harris isn't even in the same ballpark compared to JL and JJ.
