Can’t wait for him to leave, and think he is an idiot that doesn’t know what he is doing, one of our coaching legends here would disagree strongly with you.

What is one of the biggest compliment you could give to someone you worked for? Recommending to those you respect and have a high regard for that they go work for the same guy. That is what Joe Brady has done. He has recommended to Jake Peetz that he put his professional career on the line and move his family hundreds of miles away and hitch his wagon to one Ed Orgeron.

Think of that the next time you want to disparage our coach in a negative dismissive way. Joe Brady thinks highly enough of him and the job he has done and believes he will continue to do to recommend to his own staff that they go work for the guy.

If you don’t think highly of Brady then this probably doesn’t mean anything to you. If you do think highly of Brady, maybe consider he has much more data than you do and can make a much more informed determination of one Ed Orgeron than you can.

Nice try Ed. Or maybe Brady was trying to give his guys publicity and a nice hideout until hired as an NFL HC.

When assessing O’s performance, don’t fixate solely on either the 15-0 or the 5-5. Instead just use 20-5. That’s pretty good, especially when it includes a natty. Let’s see how he does in 2021.

Joe to Jake- "Hey Jake, this guy is desperate to save face and keep his job after being a walking PR nightmare this past year. He is going to stay out of your way, and if you can put up with him for a couple years while making their offensive look great you'll have your pick of jobs and be out of there in no time. I mean look at me. Three years ago I was some no name guy on the saints offensive staff as an assistant. Now I'm getting interviews to be a head coach in the NFL"

This scenario is impossible for the Orgeron apologists to even comprehend.

Maybe Brady thinks Peetz is not worth a shite either so that’s why he recommended him to O so they will go down together

I think the appeal is more likely that Peetz will be given FULL CONTROL (coach O is a defensive guy) over a potential monster of an offense that will get him ELITE talent to work with. This could jettison Peetz's career into the stratosphere, just like it did for Brady. I think that is the biggest factor in leaving the Panthers for a coordinator position at LSU.

And I'm not counting down ANYTHING in regards to a potential HC change. I just want coach O or whoever is in charge, to have us in the playoffs more years than not, and winning 2 natty's MINIMUM per decade. You know, do what a good coach would do at a place like LSU.

Did he recommend working for Coach O, or did he recommend coaching 4-5 star talent at LSU?

Im not against O, but this is a small stretch. I actually think O will win another Natty and for that I am greatful, but he doesnt seem to be some great X's and O's coach, more of a get the right people in the right role in order to be successful which is perfectly fine by me.

This is why it doesn’t matter who coaches LSU, with the unrealistic expectations of our fanbase nobody will ever be good enough. Making the playoffs more years than not and a minimum of 2 national titles per decade is a bar that only Bama has lived up 2 in the SEC and they are in our division with the greatest coach of all time. Clemson is the only other programs in the country to do that and they have a much more favorable setup. I would absolutely love for LSU to reach those expectations and I think they could very well get close to living up to them this decade but to set that as the minimum expectation or say that is what any good coach should do is beyond disconnected to reality
