You gotta give it to Boxcar Willie errr JJ's auntie! If JJ accounted for 0 yards and led LSU's offense to 0 first downs the entire game Auntie would tell us his presence carried the defense and made Tyrann Mathieu return the punt for a game winning TD

I will never understand people spewing what seems to be pure hatred and mockery of a guy who plays football for their entertainment.

but Tebow can make 4th quarter comebacks, JJ needed Lee all last year to bail him out and JJ never had to make a 4th quarter comeback all this year either.

and i agree with this. You cant compare Tebow to JJ at all in any situation or level. Its kind of dumb

Say what you want! I ran across Tebows stats in the Sugar Bowl and was quite impressed. Still am. I have watched him a few times this year and it is hard to describe how awful that offense looks. Exactly 0 great wide receivers. No great running backs but they are still winning. Tebow is truly carrying this team. But in a million years you want hear him claiming to be carrying the team on his back. Tebow was a GREAT college QB. I was just wanting all the posters who compare one of ours to him, just how ridiculous it is.

Why make a thread about it though? Why do you have to make a thread to tear down other fans paying a compliment to the kid. I dont think anyone thinks JJ is as good as Tebow in college. Id have to see the exact quotes but even the ones in here were saying comparable throwing motion JJ college=Tebow pro etc. Nothing about JJ is as good as Tebow at florida.

If you think they went out of line with regards to Lee that is understandable and by all means point out the error of their ways. However I dont think a whole thread is needed to downplay someone paying a compliment to a player on our team. Just like the guys making fun of the idea of either qb being drafted. For the JJ tebow issue why not just say hey I dont see it but I hope he plays like tebow did in the sugar bowl...is that so hard?

Not reading this whole thread, but they are not comparing Tebow to JJ today. They are comparing Tebow to Tom Brady for some fricked up reason. Last I checked Brady aint no JJ

Tebow has got incredible character and leadership qualities that allow him to accomplish things that his throwing motion does not.
JJ is not even close to Tebow.
