obviously there were a lot more problems with LSU's offense the last 3 years than just the QB position. That problem is now in Maryland. If you don't see the difference then you are blind.

You can't talk about Tebow without talking about Jesus and you can't talk about Jefferson without talking about the path he has been down.

The comparisons drawn between JJ and Tebow are as delusional as anything I have seen on this board.

AND they wait for Tebow to struggle at the pro level with an average receiving corps AND while putting in a new offensive system on the fly, adding plays each week as they go. Now it's suddenly time to start comparing JJ and Tebow.

Trying to compare the two at any level is beyond stupid...

You remember who they played? I'll give a hint. Their mascot was the Bearcats

I think you could make the comparison that

JJ:College = Tebow:NFL

Ok. Sure YOU can. I have testing for cause where I work.

So was Crowton calling the plays against Georgia?

There is no erasing the perfomance JJ had in that game...you can't blame it on Crowton or anyone else.

From what I read on here, it was all on our offensive line and Ware being afraid to get hit.

Did you see the jump pass at the goal line JJ threw against Florida. Tebow couldn't have done it better himself.

This is like the 10th time I have seen you post this. Now I realize you are just trolling. Nobody is that dumb.

LSU won 42-10. Did you see the second half? Was that the only half of LSU football you watched this season? Tebows performances haven't always been scintilating at all times either.

about the 4th time. But the play was excuted beautifully, would you not agree? Doubt Tebow ever did it more perfectly.

So how can someone who barely averages 100 yards a game be compared to him? Just curious.

LSU doesn't need a Tim Tebow in order to win. Just need someone to keep from turning over the football. No one expects 300 yards of passing, just don't fumble, don't throw INTs and don't take sacks. If JJ can do that for one game, it's all good.

then how do you explain this season's QB play? We have the same two QB's only they are performing at a much higher level.

I watched it. JJ added 23 to the 7 he had in the first half. If you take away the yards after the catch it would have been half that much. It is hard to throw for over 4 hundred yards against any good team. Tebow was being compared to the all time great QB's while in college. Even though most agreed that his skill set would not translate to the NFL. An owner thought enough of him to take him early and it has worked out very well.

Occasionally. LSU still needs to game plan around their weaknesses, not their strengths necessarily.

I'll settle for the JJ that showed up at the Chik-fil-a Bowl against Ga. Tech and the one at Cotton Bowl last season against Texas A&M. If we get him, we in business, podna!

Yep, I watched every play. And I saw JJ throw for a total of 30 yds and take a bunch of sacks. It was a classic example of a team winning (and winning big) in spite of poor QB play.

Did you watch? What exactly did JJ do that any other QB on our roster could not have done?
