Did you watch? What exactly did JJ do that any other QB on our roster could not have done?

run the option, take a hit, play tough, and 'carry the team on his back' in a hugh game against a very fired up and motivated Georgia team. His team, his teammates, the team he leads.

Goes to show you some people can take lemons and make lemonade. 99% will see things one way, one will see it totally different.

One more game. All he has to do is not turn it over, I think he can pull it off.

and what do think a better Bama D will be...not fired up, sitting back and playing prevent..give it a break, Bama needs to punt on 1st down away from TM7 and let the Defense take it chances...

Well, that pretty well seals it. If you think that less than 50 yds of offense by a QB can be described "carrying the team on his back", then I have nothing left to "discuss" with you.

Dude dont you know it is never JJ's fault when he plays poorly. It is the OL/Crwton/WR's/fans fault. JJ is never to blame.

And forget arguing with Boxcar Willie it is JJ's auntie you know the one who wanted the FBI to investigate why JJ wasnt starting!

So all LSU has to do is recruit QB's who don't turn it over. They can take sacks, Throw incompletions to open receivers, throw intentional grounding, And fumble snaps as long as our own team recovers. Gotcha! And this is the point, is this going to get someone in the NFL? That is all that I am saying.

No, and who gives a rats arse if former players get to the NFL? These two QB's will not, as QB's. All JJ has to do is get through one more game. No one expects much, just don't turn it over or take sacks. Probably doesn't even have to complete many passes.

JJ is a NFL lock didn't you hear?

5th rounder at least. Definitely NFL material unlike Tebow.

this may be the one game where he actually plays good ball because if you think about it it is in the dome, so he'll probaly have a good bit of family support there in which he will want to show off in front of his supposedly (Superman skills) that his enormous ego has conjured up because lord knows the boy is more like lex luthor.

Well, at least he came by it honestly. Did you start telling him that in Middle School, or at a more recent family outing? Might tell him over Christmas dinner that his "I" factor is one of the things that might be affecting his popularity with some of the fans...

Then play Mett. He doesn't take sacks or have turnovers and MIGHT complete more passes.

Damn weak argument you make.

probably could add in running the option effectively or just being a running threat seemed to be somewhat effective against Alabama when nothing else seemed to be working.

May be. I will settle for not screwing it up. Some fans seemed thrilled with 240 yds of offense and 27% third down conversions last time these two teams played, so it isn't going to take much to impress.

yet dispite all these personality traits that you find so negative, he is still popular with his teammates and the coaches.

LSU really didn't need much in the first game, offensive wise. Most likely will not the second. There was nothing spectacular that happened offensively Nov. 5th.

Maybe his teammates place a high value on him having their backs, say, in case of a parking lot fracas. Some fans might ask why he let "his team" get into that situation in the first place.

I guess he was so tired of carrying the team that 30 yards was all he could muster against those nasty Bulldogs.

I keep reminding myself, one more game, one more game...then we can look forward to the better QB's getting off the bench and bid our two seniors a very fond farewell. If you think JJ is another Tebow, then Mett, Randall and Rivers will be Rodgers, Vick and Rivers in your eyes (which you might want to get checked).
