Agreed. I don't have a problem with the school, the players, or the coaches, but the fans.... I don't think there's a chance of Alabama losing but wouldn't it be great to see Texas win on a late, controversial, and incorrect call? Meanwhile, the UT fans can chant that they just beat the hell out of Alabama.

Honestly, it's a total lose-lose situation for LSU fans. I get the whole SEC pride thing, but it semi what tarnishes our NC in 2007 by people saying Miles only won with Saban's talent.
More importantly, both teams have the upper hand in recruiting against us. LSU/Texas go after the same recruits and Mack Brown can show him 2 rings in the past 5 years if the Horns pull it out. Saban can show 2 rings and say he made LSU what they were, (but no longer are) because of him.
I would gladly eat a shite sandwich with a side order of bull testicles if both of these teams were replaced by any two others.
This is without question, the worst national championship game scenario for LSU.

I would only pull for Bama (and I fricking despise those clowns) because they are in our conference and the power of this conference draws in recruits to ALL SEC schools. Plus, LSU does a lot of recruiting in Texas and if Texas stays strong it makes it that much more difficult to lure the topdogs out of Tejas.

STOP YOUR BITCHING! Every BAMA fan I know pulled for LSU in '03 and '07. Always support the SEC. I can't stand Auburn and if they ever played in a National Championship notice I said "If They Ever Played," I would want the SEC to win. Why in the hell would you want any other conference to win? The SEC is the best conference and weeneed to win every year!! Go ahead and cheer for Texas, BAMA is going to beat that arse like Florida anyway.

For those that say it helps the SEC. BS. LSU won the 03 title over OU. Did that help Auburn the next year or hurt OU? No, and it wasn't because they didn't respect the SEC. Its because OU and USC played better schedules than Auburn. in 04 OU got smoked in the BCS CG. Did that hinder Texas the next year? No. In 06 tOSU was routed in the BCS CG. Did that keep the Big 10 out of the BCS CG the next year? What some other SEC team does in bowls this year, has no impact on what happens next year. People that think other wise are fools.
Alabama winning is bad for LSU and everyone else in the SEC W. Any fan of an SEC team other than Bama that is rooting for Bama, may as well root for Bama when they play LSU next year.

Typically I would cheer for anyone in the SEC, but after going to Bryant Denny and hearing a good bit of bama's fanbase cheer and laugh at our players as they all got hurt... no way I would cheer for anyone that those classless pieces of shite want to win

As much bias that has been shown towards Florida and Alabama this season, I will definitely pull against the SEC team in the Championship game. Once because it's Bama, secondly, the SEC officials in Birmingham need to realize that they represent twelve universities in the South, not one or two!
Hell, I think LSU should stop painting SEC on the field. I'm anti-SEC officials and the powers that be in Birmingham!

Pulling for Bama because they are SEC shows how stupid some people are. We don't have to continually prove that we are the best conference. We have been considered the best conference this entire millenium even before this most recent run.
The only reason people are bitching about this shite is Auburn getting left out in 2004. That was a fluke and honestly we still got in during the 2003 season even though everyone loved USC that year.
If the SEC is 5-1 in BCS NC games, who gives a shite? Is it going to bring down our aura? Hell, our conference was mediocre this year, and people still didn't question if it was the best.
Going for Bama is purely anti-LSU and will only hurt us if they win. There is no benefit to be gained.
