LSU approached him before PM. Do you really think that he has been there 20 fkn years and not one school has reached out to him to gauge his interest in their opening? You guys are hilariously delusional.

And yet he’s still there. Fascinating stuff.

Apparently. 20 years there. FTR, Bianco would not be 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice but I'm not making those decisions. If he is hired here, I won't be acting like a moron. He is a good coach and will do well here.
Who is you favorite candidate to replace PM? Or are you just here to raise hell?

He’s one of us. Friends with Coach O

McDonnell, Godwin, and Corbin are my favorites. I want someone who either has upside or has proven that they can propel our program towards a path of success.
All Bianco has proven over the last 20 years is how average a post-season coach he is and how aggressively mediocre a recruiter he is.
Why would you want to bring in a guy who performed objectively more poorly than Paul (at the same time, I might add) with similar resources?
He’s a good guy and a good coach, but he’s not LSU material. shite, according to many he’s not even Ole Miss material. It’s a bad hire, is what it is.

For Pro-Bianco Posters: What’s the appeal?
- Successful at a mediocre school
- Ex-LSU guy
- Recruits well
- Understands SEC from both a coaching and player's perspective.

-His level of success at Ole Miss =/= the level of success required at LSU.
-who gives a frick
-as I stated above, one glance at his average class rankings shows how aggressively average his recruiting is. Why would you bring a guy in who had similar resources and yet was CONSISTENTLY out-recruited by Paul?
-and that won him a bunch of trophies at Ole Miss. Oh, wait...

He’ll contend for an SEC tourney championship and get us to the Supers.
So he's Paul in his worst years?
Cool.

There are 3-4 coaches
Just out of curiosity, what has Bianco done to deserve to be in this group of 3-4 coaches?
And who are the the other 2-3 coaches in your mind?

I can agree with most of that. My top 3 is the same but different order. Corbin is the most qualified but with greater resources. McDonnell has done more with less but still hasn't won one. Godwin is younger and up and coming having made 3 supers in like 6 years.
I just don't agree with shitting on a former Tiger that helped kick off these sometimes unreasonable expectations that most have around here and not to mention his son is a Tiger also that has busted his arse for the program.
It's fine if you don't like him as the next coach. I would rather a few others also. People should say that with class and not shite all over him and his accomplishments (or lack of) just because his name is getting tossed around. People are setting themselves up to be miserable but "it is what it is."
ETA: I really like Vitello but I don't think they will pursue him. Seems too immature the way he handles himself even though I think he is on the rise and that is probably severely understated.

LSU alum and the longest tenured baseball coach in the SEC. Has better resume than PM when he was hired.
I would love McDonnell, Godwin or Vitelo
