Title IX would be a bigger issue if it really got ugly and that will come down next year. I don’t think it will get to a worst-case level, but there’s no way to know that now. As for the NCAA, all it will take to hurt a coaching search is them not accepting our “bowl ban” and scholarship reductions, because that guarantees that more is coming. You get both at the same time and you are almost in the same boat as Baylor was.

The timeline of all this is going to be an issue, as well. If the T9 investigation doesn’t end until February, action probably won’t be taken until Spring at the earliest. Are we going all out on a coaching search that deep in the off-season, or naming an interim and waiting until next year’s cycle? I would put good money on the later. That’s what most schools with off-season firings do.

Read somewhere that LSU's own investigation into the Title IX issues won't be completed till Feb. 2021. Not sure if that is in anyway related to the NCAA's schedule but if it is, that means any new HC would be hired before anyone knows the ramifications of any negative findings/ sanctions. Wait till then & recruiting will plummet as every recruit wants to know who the HC will be.

No it won't. The investigation LSU is doing is our own investigation. Baylor's had to do with Title IX also but its been 5 years and nothing has happened yet. All Baylor has done is fire the people involved and pay some money over lawsuits

They will know next month who's going to have to be fired. They probably know some right now

If I had to put money on it O is going to not be fired
Joseph, Verge, the tennis coaches, compliance people will be fired
