IMO....

LSU fans outnumber all others 4 to 1.

2. Texas
3. ArKansas
4. North Carolina (although a lot of local kids just like to wear that powder blue color).
5. Arizona State
6. Southern Miss
7. Cal St. Fullerton
8. Virginia

Was it just me or was our tiger fans not as loud as normal. I was listening to the game on 98.1 but watching ESPN.

The people in left field and behind the left field wall were the only LSU fans I could hear. Right field was loud early but rarely started any chants. Left field is the place to by IMO. Thats where I was last night.

He's not being sarcastic here. There are faaaar many more LSU fans than any other school. I'm about to head over to Rosenblatt for Texas' game, and I'm sure they'll have their usual big contingent (not as big as our numbers, of course).

Southern Miss surprisingly brought quite a few people as well. I didn't even see the first Virginia fan until I was in the ballpark last night. Seen very few CalStF and Arizona State fans.

Arkansas has a nice contingent here as well.

Can you imagine if Omaha was only 7-8 hours from Baton Rouge...my God that place would be packed.

A large bit were from omaha, because right after the last homerun it emptied. You can tell there are a great deal of people with brand new hats and stuff.

left feild baby. but at least 1/4 of the lsu fans
are local people. its weird because walking around you shout out geaux tigers and they give you this strange look. Omaha people live for this event and go all out for one certain team. it just happens to be the tigers.

Google Maps shows 420 miles. It's about 30 miles or so farther than BR to Memphis or 100 miles shorter than BR to Atlanta.

It would be a damned madhouse.

FWIW LSU has had practice at Bellevue East High School which is two blocks from my house. I have seen Texas, Ark and LSU practice this year, each time LSU has practiced there have been many fans of LSU or Baseball watching, mmmmm not so much for the other teams out there. Just Seems whenever LSU shows up so do fans.. I will be there tonight cheering on the Tigers
