I'm expecting Foreverellishugh to start another thread asking why his previous Aranda thread was deleted, so he can correct himself and say Kelly was the correct hire.

It’s not really hate. People just get sick of the same lazy comments begging for him, Kiffin and a couple of others over and over again.
Aranda is a great coach, but his current recruiting philosophy will never bring consistent success in the SEC and I’m not sure he will ever change it. He won’t have to at a place like Baylor competing in the Big 12.

Grobe wasn’t there long. I’m sure he was referring to Briles. 2 out of the previous 3 is still significant.

-Napier (UF) lost to now 4-2 Kentucky
-Jimbo (8-4) lost to then 1-1 Appalachian St.
-Fickell (Cincy) lost to now 3-3 Arkansas
-Campbell (Iowa St.) is currently 3-3 including a loss to Aranda and will get smoked this weekend by Texas
Unless you are trying to make a comparison to Wild Card Kiffin, Lincoln “No Chest” Reilly, or Urban SlickFingers Meyer then all “(insert Coach name here) lovers” are in the same boat.
The only thing worse than your point is the way in which you tried to deliver it.

It’s just one of many fascinating pumper behaviors. If we’re doing well it’s ok to highlight our former coaches doing well. If we’re not you’re not allowed to compliment anyone who’s coached here before and everything they do is shite. That’s just how pumpers operate.

Aranda has had a bit of a roller coaster ride there so far as head coach. They were bad in his first year, but that was the weird COVID year and they finished 2-7. They were great last year with the 12 wins. And now they are back to looking pretty bad again. It looks like it will be a struggle for them to finish above.500 at this point with tougher games gainst Kansas, TCU and Texas still remaining.
