One season?? I think if you were going to make a point, you might want to put the whole decade W-L not just one season IMO

High School was a really lousy time for me to be a Tiger fan living in Alabama. I graduated in 1994. We only came to TS for one game, and luckily we won it against Vandy. But I went to games at Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Nashville and Athens that we lost. It was a rough time to be a Tiger fan, but I still wore my LSU stuff.

It helped that LSU basketball and baseball were doing well. That eased the pain a little.

I am pretty sure that's the year it rained during the game. My friends and I sat there soaking wet, getting wasted, and talking to some visiting recruits. What a beating that was.

My all time fav. It makes the Troy near fiasco not seem so bad.

Yeah nothing makes you feel better about the state of the program now than to look at our record in '92. A NC 11 years later seemed absolutely impossible at the time

Great nonconference schedule that year though. Or was Arky an in-conference game by that time?

1992 was the first year they were in the conference.

We beat Tulane by less than 2 touchdowns.

Throw in close calls against Houston and Vandy, a loss to USM, and some humiliating conference defeats and you have one awful decade of football. When I drink I hope that I can isolate brain cell loss to those that store LSU football memories from the early 90's.

No kidding. Anyone that thinks that 7-5 is unacceptable (which it is, don't get me wrong) hopefully will never have to experience a year where the only 2 victories are against Moo St and Tulane, and by a combined 33 pts no less. We should expect to beat either one of those teams today by more than that.

Disclaimer: Sorry to bring up this sore subject, but I see most of the posters on this topic remember those years and don't seem to mind; If anything it lets us know how far we have come. Although I originally posted this as there are a ton of youngsters on here who I suspect were in diapers at this time. NEVER forget where we came from
